We were so fortunate to have a very smooth pregnancy and birth... other than Damon's posterior arrival all went well without any complications.
However, once Damon was here the Doctor's were a bit concerned about his jaudice levels so we had to keep him on his own personal little 'tanning bed' until his numbers were back in a healthy range.
I'm grateful for modern medicine that made this healing process simple... however, I must say it was really rough leaving our adorable little newborn on that silly little light bed 24 hours a day. We were only allowed to take him off for feeding and diaper changes (the only time I was actually grateful for his frequent urination) :). Luckily this process only lasted a few days and Damon was granted a clean bill of health.
