Wheeler Farm

We headed out for a day at Wheeler Farm... turns out, it's not that fun for a 3 year old and baby.  It's not so much stroller friendly so I was trying to push the empty stroller through the gravel as I carried Davis (sweating mind you from the heat) and poor Damon just wanted to play with the animals... which obviously isn't allowed.

Anyway, we just headed to the park after and had a much more enjoyable experience. :)

But I did catch a few fun pics of Damon.

"Now if I can just get that bunny out of there"

Trying so hard to open the door

"Come here little guy... I'm nice... I promise..."

I can neither confirm nor deny the existence of a sign that may have suggested you weren't supposed to touch the tractor... I'm just saying...

And we rounded the outing off with a little duck watching

Summer time... when the livin's easy

This is what we do... we play outside... and we love it

Trafalga

Grandma and Grandpa Smith took the us to Trafalga for Damon's birthday

Turns out... a child size air hockey is all a three year old needs to be happy!

Davis cheered his brother on every step of the way :)

The tickets just kept on coming...

I don't know... think he was excited for his gift?

Easy like a sunday morning

This may seem like a silly picture to post but I really want to remember Davis' easy going nature.  The little man will just wander around and keep himself entertained.  He heads in to the toy room all by himself and keeps himself occupied way longer than his older brother can.  Not that it's a bad thing that Damon likes constant company (he gets that from his mother).  It's good to have contrast and I just wanted to remember this easy going little guy in case he decides not to be like this forever :)

Happy Birthday Damon

I should have posted this with Damon's birthday but these pics were taken on a different camera so they didn't make it on the computer at the same time.

Anyway, we gave him a basketball stand for his birthday and he was even more excited than we'd hoped.

Darren opened the box for him and Damon managed to get everything out and put together all by himself.  His independence is great in situations like this... however, when he decides to do something like drive the car to the grocery store at age 5 I might be hoping for a more dependent little guy ;)

Guilty Pleasure

I can't help myself... I love to play "mama paparazzi"!
It's so fun to hide out and snap shots of my little guys when they think no one is watching.

oops... I got caught!

OH Davis...

Happy Birthday Damon!

It seems like just yesterday Darren and I nervously waited on the futon in our basement apartment for the pregnancy test to reveal the results.  Somehow time has zipped by at lighting speed since that moment and our little boy we were so excited to welcome into this world has now been part of our lives for three whole years.

As clique as it sounds, I really don't think it would be possible to love him anymore than I do.  Well, let's get on with it... ya'll know I like to throw a party so here are some shots from Damon's 3 year old bash!

It was a sports themed party... and what is a sporting event without popcorn?

I may have been responsible for handing Cooper the rubber scraper after making the frosting for the cupcakes... but then again, maybe another well meaning adult did it.

Damon decorated each goodie bag his very own self!  (Aside from the labels of course)

Damon (and I for that matter) love to have Dance parties!  It makes it even more fun when you turn it into a freeze dance.  So, naturally we had to have a freeze dance at his party.

He can't be bothered with taking the wrapper off... he's a go for the gold kinda kid.  Ha Ha

Delux birthday bowling pins

Damon leading Kiara on a prance about through the dessert.

Double fistin it

I too enjoy talking on a good cracker phone now and again
