Day 5 was supposed to be our travel day home... but when does a vacation actually work out as planned? Turns out, the hotel I booked that was supposed to be right by the train station (for Darren) and the airport (for me)... was no where near either. In fact, it wasn't even humanly possible for us to sleep at our hotel and make it to the train station & airport in time for our departures the next morning. So, what do you do... stay another day of course :)
This little mishap turned out to be a wonderful problem because we got to see a lot more amazing stuff in and around Rome.
