After a heafty rain storm last week we had the biggest brightest rainbow out our back window. Enjoying fresh weather under a rainbow after a warm summer rain is on my top ten list of simple pleasures.
Other simple pleasures found on the list (in no particular order) are...
Eating cinnamon bears that have gotten warm and gooey in the sun
Jumping on the trampoline after a sleep out with all your blankets and pillows still heaped on board
Kissing in the rain
A perfectly roasted marshmallow
Getting a hand written letter in the mail
Sleeping under the stars (actually under them... no tent)
Blowing fish kisses on your babies pot belly
Running as fast as you can
Anonymously giving a gift
Swimming at night

mmmmm...so many...let's see....
1. A really good night's sleep...mmmmm, yes.
2. Light...any kind, but especially, bright, warm, morning sunshine coming through my windows.
3. Really yummy soap smell on my freshly washed hands.
4. Parking in my garage instead of the driveway or street.
5. Summer thunderstorms.
6. Sticking my cold toes in Jared's warm calves.
7. Hugging, holding, or kissing, my cute kids...and husband, too :)
8. Reading stories with Brodey.
9. Opening an extremely organized closet, room, drawer, cupboard, shed...you name it.
10. Looking through picture albums of our families best memories
