ALL DRESSED UP AND NO WHERE TO GO

It was a beautiful day so Damon and I decided to take our first trip to the pool.  Don't worry I wouldn't actually expose his baby soft skin to the irritating effects of chlorine and urine infested waters. We were just going to go and enjoy the atmosphere.  Unfortunately we got all ready and headed outside to find the weather had taken a turn for the worst.  It was altogether way to stormy for us to embark on our little adventure.  Thus, 'all dressed up and no where to go'.

BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT

I've had Damon's Birth Announcement done for what seems like forever but of course I haven't gotten around to mailing them out... that would be WAY too on the ball ;)  Anyway, here it is.

Unfortunately for Damon there is just no getting around the fact that he is going to have his picture taken more frequently than necessary.  However, after looking at how good his first photo shoot went who could blame me for being a little snap happy ;)

Believe it or not this shot was not staged.  Damon did this all on his own when being held by Grandma Haub.

THE DOC

So we totally lucked out with our Pediatrician.  We talked to friends and family to get an idea of a good Pediatrician for Damon.  We decided on a Doctor but unfortunately found out that his practice was full.  Unfortunately we never finished the process before Damon's arrival.  As luck would have it... the Doctor we had originally wanted was on call at the hospital on Damon's birthday.  He gave him his newborn check up and circ and couldn't help but fall in love with the little guy... naturally after meeting Damon's amazing parents he fell in love with us too ;)  Although his practice is currently full he decided to let us in.  Hooray!  I know it sounds silly to be so excited but he really is such a great doctor and SO good with kids.
