Davis' Baby Blessing

Last Sunday we blessed Davis and boy did he look cute in his little outfit!

And yes... this is the best family pic we were able to snap. My cute dad is going blind and didn't realize we weren't all in the frame when he was taking the picture. At least we got some solo shots of the little guy since he didn't quite make it into this one.

Happy Birthday 2 ME!

Can you believe I'm a quarter of a century!? Kinda Crazy if you ask me! At least I was able to celebrate in style.

Darren took me to Macaroni Grill and it was delightful!

Then we went to Cold Stone for 2nd dessert (because you can't pass up the chocolate cake at Macaroni Grill... but a girls also gotta have ice cream on her birthday) :)

1st & Last Boating Trip of the Summer

We headed out for a boating trip while we were in Idaho visiting Darren's parents and of course I remembered my waterproof camera case but forgot my camera. At least the cell phone pics turned out decent.

Damon was so afraid that his hair was going to blow away that he decided to hold it on. Too funny! He made me hold mine on too.

Darren was in the middle of cheering for Damon... thus the funny face :)

Damon loved tubing! He could have stayed out there all day.

Camping... well sorta

I've been wanting to go camping all summer and somehow it just never fit in. Now with a newborn in the picture I was afraid it'd be next summer before we got to go.

So I did what any natural person would do...

We went camping in Darren's parents back yard and left the baby inside with Grandma and Grandpa. :)

Because they live in the middle of nowhere (really) it actually felt like real live camping. It was a blast and I'm so glad Darren's parents were willing to take care of Davis in the middle of the night. I certainly enjoyed the break.

Darren's dad even built us a fire pit. As you can tell... Damon loved it.
