Family in Town

Damon's cousin Kiara come to town for Thanksgiving. They're only 2 months apart and had tons of fun together.
Thanks Henderson's for my cool new car!

Welcome Home Dad!

Did you know absence really does make the heart grow fonder? I missed Darren more than I ever could have possibly realized! He is the best husband and dad in the entire world! I already told his boss that if he's going on any more long work escapades then Damon and I are coming too! :)

Halloween

Halloween just happens to be my favorite holiday. Unfortunately Darren missed it this year. We were going to be Luigi (Darren), Princess Peach (me), and Yoshi (Damon). But... I felt a little silly dressing up as a princess without my prince so we settled for a little solo Yoshi. Too bad I was such a frazzle case that I didn't even manage to get a good picture of him.

Back to Life

Back to my wonderful life with a sleepy eyed messy haired little man. I missed him in the week I was gone and that means Darren missed him even more! I got to come home but Darren had to get back to work in Switzerland. Two more weeks until he gets to see Damon.

European Adventure Day 5

Day 5 was supposed to be our travel day home... but when does a vacation actually work out as planned? Turns out, the hotel I booked that was supposed to be right by the train station (for Darren) and the airport (for me)... was no where near either. In fact, it wasn't even humanly possible for us to sleep at our hotel and make it to the train station & airport in time for our departures the next morning. So, what do you do... stay another day of course :)

This little mishap turned out to be a wonderful problem because we got to see a lot more amazing stuff in and around Rome.

European Adventure Day 4

Day 4 started out in a VERY rain Pisa, Italy.

Then we were off to Rome!
Brace yourself for a A LOT of pictures... the city is so magnificent I just couldn't narrow them down any further.

European Adventure Day 3

Darren and I split off from the parents and headed off to Italy to see a few sites.

Here we're at an Egyptian Museum in Turin, Italy. I never thought I'd find myself saying this... but it was SO COOL! We saw real mummified people from before Christ's time that still had hair and skin and stuff. Crazy.

European Adventure Day 2

Day 2 started out in Bern, Switzerland.

Yep, that's a bear in the city.
Next we found ourselves in Interlaken, Switzerland (My favorite city in the whole world! At least for now).
The next two pictures do not do the water justice. In real life it looked like blue Gatorade.

We hopped on a little train...
...that took us up...
...and up...
...and up. It gave us a great view of the Gatorade glacier water.
And the Alps.
As well as other little things.

European Adventure Day 1

I wasn't about to miss out on a chance to go to Europe... so I decided to pop over for a visit. I talked my Dad and Joni into tagging along as well.

Here are some pictures of our first day in Switzerland.
