Happy Easter

We started the day off with our own little egg hunt.  We've decided to use Darren's family tradition of hiding the whole easter basket for the kids to find.  It was so much fun. :)  Let's be honest even before we had kids Darren and I did this and loved it (me probably more so than him).

Then we headed over to grandma and grandpa's for yet another egg hunt.  Somehow they never get old. :)

I know there is something edible in here... and I'm determined to get it out. Ha Ha

 We went to take the boys for a wagon ride... and well... they decided to give Grandma a wagon ride instead. 

Then came the bubble machine...

And to round out a fun easter day the boys plastered the driveway with chalk...

imagine that... Damon managed to plaster more than just the driveway. :)

Saturday Car Wash

The funny thing about these car washes is that Damon is legitimately helpful now.  He actually does a pretty good job.  In fact, a neighbor actually paid him to wash their mini van. Too funny.

  

Eggs Eggs... Beautiful Eggs

We had what we thought was a brilliant idea by coloring our eggs with markers instead of liquid dye.  Well my friends... I can tell you from first hand experience it is just as, if not more messy.  The color was ALL OVER our hands for days.  Washable my eye!  Ha Ha

We had played hard all day so by the time egg coloring came around Damon was a bit pooped out.  He laid on Darren's arm to (in his words) "relax" most of the time.

Happy Birthday Grammy!

It should be noted that I have the cutest grandma on the face of the planet.  On March 29th she turned 90!  Yes, you read that right... she has graced this earth with her presence for 9 whole decades.  Well Gram, (not that you'll be surfing the web to read this) but I love you & happy birthday!

One of the best parts of the day is when Damon wakes up from his nap and Davis and I head in to snuggle! (Don't worry, I don't climb into the toddler bed with them... well... at least not most days)

After one look at this picture you'd think Damon married his grandparents.  Nope, he just likes them a whole lot and couldn't imagine why they'd want a picture without him. :)

My dad and Joni got sealed and it was a really special day.  I'm so happy that both my parents have found someone they are truly happy with. :)

Poor Darren, he always seems to miss out on things because he's takin care of the boys.  He was walking a tired/fussy Davis around so he missed the family photo op.   Sorry Babe!

We threw them a little travel inspired shindig afterwards.  I was a bit too busy to take more pictures... of which I'm totally bummed about because it was really quite festive.
