Tickle fight (I'm fairly certain this picture will make great black mail in about 10 years)

Sneaky Snack
I went down stairs to check on Damon when I hear this awkward lip smacking coming from the corner of the kitchen. I'm trying to think of what treat he could have gotten in to as I make my way around the corner.
Treat???? Well, not really. My butter loving son was chomping down a whole cube of butter!
Yes, that happened.
Downtown
I had an errand to run downtown and the boys were getting restless so we stopped to run around.
Look at that face... Damon can't help but get excited when there is water he can actually play in!
Who doesn't love a baby in loafers!?
I post this, so when he gets older and I tell him his favorite drink as a kid was V8, I'll actually have proof.
Not only does he love V8 but he loves seeing my reaction as he wipes his red mustache on his shirt....grrr!
Luckily I talked him into wiping it on the grass instead (it produced a few good laughs)

Magpies and Fire Trucks
It's a Sunday evening and I'm out with our neighbors watching our kids do song and dance performances (a typical activity for them)... anyhow, we're interrupted by Darren saying
"We have 4 baby magpies stuck in our basement window well and the mom is standing guard at the top so I can't get them out on my own. Kelli, I need you to shoo the mom away with a broom while I help them get out."
Ha! Me? Shoo a magpie? Not on your life. Magpies are MEAN! And why do I get to be the one with the broom while you get to the bird hero?
Turns out if you call your local Fire Department they will rescue magpies from your basement window well (should you ever need them too). And they'll let the kids have some fun with the fire truck while they're at it.
In my opinion... way better than me shooing a protective mommy magpie with a broom.

All Aboard
One day I went to the dealership to get my oil changed and to fix a tiny knob that broke off. Well, turns out something like that takes 3.5 hours to accomplish. So I put both boys in my single child stroller and headed off to run some errands. We managed to make it to Target, Old Navy, Dollar Tree, Chick Fil'A, and Hobby Lobby... and of course I didn't come home empty handed. I wish I had taken a picture of all the shopping bags balancing on the top of the stroller.
All in all the annoyingness of my car taking forever turned out to be a funny memory.
Haley's parents are way cooler than Damon's
Damon got invited to his first friend birthday party... and I'm pretty sure it can't be topped. Not for a while at least!
People Watchin...
I just so happen to be a major people watcher... looks like I may have passed the trait on.
While eating lunch at 7 Peaks my boys proceeded to stare at the family next to us for the duration of our meal.
I can't say I'm innocent, it took me WAY too long to realize we were all staring. oops!

Play Group Party
Damon has a play group that meets once a week and we had a little end of year P.A.R.T.Y
Notice how happy everyone is except for Damon. The poor kid is always crying about something. (Don't worry, we are working on that)
Street Hockey Pro In The Making
Scored these awesome "roller blades", knee pads, and helmet at DI. The helmet decor was done by Damon ;)
1st time for a spin and he's already doing tricks!
(I'm pretty sure it wasn't on purpose)
Oh Happy Boy
Hangin out with my parents... and Davis is just happy as can be (as usual)
Yep grandma... you got caught swinging... with no grandkids in sight... ha ha
Damon helping gramp take out the trash :)
